As 80s kids, we were fortunate enough to experience the transition from the funky 80s to the groovy 90s. We remember the iconic TV shows like Hey Arnold, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Doug, and Rugrats, and the family-friendly sitcoms like Full House and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. We recall the fashion of the time, from bell-bottom jeans to pet rocks, and Chia pets. The 90s was also the time when music legends like All-American Rejects, Nirvana, and Celine Dion ruled the charts, and when funky retro diners were all the rage.

We were part of the last generation of kids who lived without cell phones and iPads. We had MySpace and AOL chat rooms, and Facebook was just a distant dream. We started our music collections with cassette tapes and gradually adapted to CDs. We also had home phones and answering machines, and our parents had their first desktop computers.

Our childhood was shaped by significant events, such as the Clinton presidency and the Clinton sex scandal. We remember being told by our parents about their walks uphill to school and the classic time-outs in the corner. These experiences have shaped us into who we are today, and we are proud of our roots.
